Well, I think it's safe to say that this baby is going to be more like it's momma...high strung! The baby is moving like crazy and it is such an amazing feeling to feel it move inside. I have been feeling it quite often for the last 2 or 3 weeks, but it seems like they are getting stronger and stronger! I have been waiting for Robert to be able to feel it and this morning, with a little patience, he felt it! I also laid on my back and just watched my stomach for awhile because it was so active I thought I might be able to see it. Sure as the world, I saw a little bump pop up during a kick. I couldn't believe it and I can't believe we are HALF WAY THERE! It will be here before we know it.
Monday is the ultrasound where we will find out if everything is growing like it should and what the sex of the baby is. I am the most impatient person in this world and I'm about to go nuts. I can't wait. It will be a fun day that we will share with both of our parents. They are both going with us to see what the baby is. We are all so excited and I can't wait to finally be able to get some little clothes for the baby. I've waited since it is hard to buy when you don't know the sex. So after Monday the fun will begin, hopefully! There is always the chance that they won't be able to tell.
That's all for now...5 more days of Christmas vaca.....but man, it sure is nice!

18 Weeks & Christmas Decor
As of Thursday we are 18 weeks. Can't believe it is going as fast as it is! I am so anxious to find out the gender of the baby in 14 days! Everything is going great...feeling great...baby's growing...and over this past week I have really felt the baby move a lot. It seems to be the most active in the morning and when I lay down at night to go to bed. Maybe it's because I concentrate and notice the movement more, but it is amazing. I can't wait until it kicks hard enough for Robert to feel it!
Christmas is only 5 days away and I'm very anxious for it to get here! Christmas is my favorite time of the year. We are headed to Potosi tomorrow to spend the rest of the week there. We will leave Friday evening and head to my mom and dad's. They are calling for snow Friday night and Saturday! Yay! Here are a few pictures of what Christmas looks like around our house. I love having the tree up and the lights on all of the time. The house will look so bare without them!

On another note, Ellie has loved Christmas, too. She decided to open a few presents (which weren't hers) a little early. She's getting a little crazy these days. Today I looked over and here is what I saw....
Yeah, someone is a little bit spoiled. She spent the night with Suzie (my mom and dad's dog) and she was wore out!
And here's one more picture from mom's house...the stockings. The mantle is getting full...next year there will be one more stocking!
Merry Christmas Everyone!

17 Weeks
Today we are 17 weeks. We went for our monthly check up and we got a great report. The heartbeat was about 150. The little buggar was squirming all around and Dr. Mou had a hard time finding it, but we heard it and she said everything was great. I measured correctly and she said I was right on track! Now we just have to wait til January 3rd and we will FINALLY find out what the little one is. We have our monthly appointment that day, too and we cannot wait! I think my parents and Robert's parents are coming with us to the ultrasound. Everyone is so excited and it will be so neat to have them all there with us. I think that after we find out, we might have to go do a little shopping and finally buy some baby clothes :)
I cannot believe that it is ALMOST CHRISTMAS! One more week of work and then the wonderful 2 week break is here! Woo hoo!
Well, that's all for now. :)

16 Weeks
This post is a couple of days early, but I thought I'd go ahead and post. Thursday I will be 16 weeks! That is so crazy to me because if feels like we just found out! I guess that means that this pregnancy is going to fly by! I feel great! It seems as if my belly has REALLY popped out over the past week. Some of it might be all of the Thanksgiving food I ate, but honestly I think the baby is just growing! It's as big as an avocado! I read that it could be sucking its little thumb in there and is now noticing sound! It can hear our voices :)
We have a doctor's appointment next week and then we will find out what the little one is JANUARY 3!!! I cannot wait. I want to buy some little clothes so bad but unless you know what it is, it is hard to buy clothes! My vote is still a baby boy, but who knows!?!?! Robert still votes girl, but how in the world do we know? I will be very anxious to see. Hopefully they can tell! Knowing my luck we will have a modest baby who won't show us what its got :)
I'll post next week after doctor's appointment.
Oh, I don't think I ever told what the heartbeat was last appointment. It was in the 150's--which is right where we want it! The doctor said everything looked great! Mom and dad went with us to that appointment to hear the heartbeat and they thought that was pretty special!

Happy Birthday, Robert!
Yesterday I didn't post a happy birthway wish to my hubs! He had a pretty downer birthday because of our sick, sick, SICK puppy. She has the parvovirus and we are just hoping she gets better...SOON. It's a miserable sickness for her and it's so sad. I can hardly stand to look at her because she looks sooooo sad :(
But, even though it's a day late, Happy Birthday Robert!

Makes me smile, duck hunters, & 13 weeks
Well we are almost 13 weeks. Feeling good. Baby H is the size of a peach! Growing like a weed :) We are very excited for our 3 month appointment tomorrow. Dr. Mou said we should definitely hear the heartbeat. That's the most amazing sound and really makes you realize that this is real! Sometimes I have a hard time believing I'm pregnant...then again there are certain signs that let me know for sure... I am pregnant.
I ran across these pictures today online and they just made me smile. :)
Here are 3 of my guys..after their duck hunt Saturday....From left, my brother- Ethan, Robert, and cousin-Kirby. They had a fun day.
I'll update tomorrow after our doctor's appointment!

12 Weeks
Well we have made it to week 12! Here's what's up lately:
Pregnancy Highlights:
How Far Along: 12 Weeks
Size of baby: Baby H is the size of a lime!
Total Weight Gain/Loss: Nothing as of now...Next week is our next appointment.
Maternity Clothes: Not yet.
Gender: Won't find out until around Christmas!
Movement: Not yet, but I CANNOT wait!
Sleep: Not bad, but I have to get up at least once to go to the bathroom during the night. It's usually around 3AM :) I toss and turn a lot but it doesn't affect me much!
What I miss: Diet Vanilla Cokes from Sonic...but I'm getting used to not having them :)
Cravings: Any type of potato, green beans, sweet tea (decaf)
Symptons: I experienced heartburn for the first time...yuck. Never had it before in my life, but I ate Mexican and realized that might not be the best idea...but I love it! Other than that it's all about the same. I'm still tired, but not quite as bad. I thought the sickness had passed, but Sunday night it hit again...nothing since then though!
Our next doctor's appointment is next Wednesday. We are looking forward to hearing the little one's heartbeat and hoping everything looks great!
And here are a few pictures of our other excitement in our house...she's a bundle of energy.

10 weeks
Well, another week has flown by. Already 10 weeks...11 on Thursday. I am finally starting to feel better. The nausea hasn't been as bad and I can tell I'm not quite so tired. I still have my moments, but it is definitely better.
Now I'm just ready to go shoppin'! I have been looking at baby clothes and I cannot wait to put our little one in some of these....
oh....and these little babies....
What will it be? Pink or black?

9 Weeks
Well, we've made it 9 weeks! Everything is going great! I've only been sick a few times and basically just feel nauseous all of the time. It's not unbearable though! We went to the doctor on Wednesday and everything checked out great!! The doctor answered a few questions I had and told me to come back in 4 weeks! We didn't get to hear the heartbeat because she said it would be too early. I didn't mind because we got to hear it when we had the ultrasound. I know the little one is doing alright because I've been so nauseous. The doc said that being sick means it's a healthy pregnancy. Go figure! I'm ok with it though. As long as the little one is growin'!
As far as cravings go, I haven't had many. I would say pickles (although cliche) but the main thing I've noticed that I've wanted is anything hot or with melted cheese on it. Potatoes in any shape of form (fries being my favorite) are what I want the majority of the time :) Oh, and SWEET TEA. Something I really didn't care for before I was pregnant, but boy do I want it now! Guess I'll have to buy some decaf. :)
My pants are starting to feel a little snug...I'm guessing by about 12 weeks you'll definitely be able to see a baby bump. I swear I see one now, but I'm a little anxious.
Whether or not we find out is still up in the air...I say yes...RK thinks a surprise would be neat. I agree with him, but I just want to prepare with clothes, bedding, carseat, stroller, etc. We will see when the time comes...which is the week of CHRISTMAS. What a neat present, right? I am just so anxious to see whether or not we will be having:

She's already voted boy....twice.

Our First Baby Picture
I am 7 weeks and 2 days and so far I've felt pretty good. I had a couple rough days this week with the nausea, but overall--I feel pretty good! I haven't gained any weight yet (It's soon to come) but my pants are feeling a little tighter day by day. The best way I can describe how my stomach feels is bloated. Constantly.
The little one is growing soooo much each day. I read week by week updates every day. It's amazing how fast they grow!!! Only 7 more months and we will have our little one here!
We have agreed on 2 names for now....this could change in the next 7 months knowing us :)
(You all might not care about this, but it's basically so I can look back and remember this whole experience!)

What we have been up to...
Well, it's been awhile since I've posted but there has been A LOT going on around our place! Let's go back to my birthday...So it started with the surprise party. Thanks again to the hub for that. It was great. Sunday was a birthday lunch at my grandma's...again a great birthday gift...but little did I know that the best was yet to come on my actual birthday.
It was on a Monday so I went to school. On my way to school I picked up a couple of pregnancy tests...since I was about 8 days late I thought it was time. I waited until my planning period and I headed to the teacher's lounge restroom (kinda weird I know, but I HAD to take a test). I flipped it over and wouldn't look at it...and then I did...and I see this....
I don't know if you can see it that well, but there are 2 lines. PREGNANT! I sat in the bathroom and cried for what I swear felt like 20 minutes. I was SO excited nad SO thankful. We have been wanting this for awhile now and it was more than overwhelming when I saw the 2 lines. ( I took another test a little later and PREGNANT again!)
I tried to get a hold of Robert, but he was in a meeting and had to call me back. He said, "What's up?" and I simply said, "You're going to be a daddy." We are both so excited! We told my fam that night and then his a couple days after. We were going to try to wait and tell them in person, but we couldn't do it. We had to spil our great news.
I have been to the doctor and at this time am about 6 weeks. We have another ultrasound next week and will be very glad to see the baby!
We are very thankful for this little blessing and the next 8 months will be exciting...as for now nauseousness has definitely sat in. It's all so worth it! We can't wait to meet the little one!

Surprise Party and Surprise Run-In at Walmart
Ok, so this weekend has already began with a bang! Last night Robert said we were going to go to Short Street (local landmark restaurant) and eat with his boss Greg and wife Lisa. So I got ready and we headed out. We got to SS and walked in and he told me to check in the big room to see if they were in there. I peeked my head in and saw a table full of people and balloons. I said, "No, there is a birthday party in there!" After rethinking what I just saw, it hit me that it was my grandpa that I had seen and the lady holding the camera in the air was my grandma! I stuck my head back in there and everyone yelled, "Surprise!" I was baffled! I have NEVER had a surprise party and there sat my entire family (with a dew exceptions) waiting to surprise me! It was awesome. Come to find out, the mastermind behind the whole thing was the awesome hub. He had planned the whole thing and apparently kept it a secret from me all week. He's absolutely the best...ya never know with that boy.
So we enjoyed a wonderful dinner, cake, and presents...Mom and dad got me a new Northface jacket (which i LOVE), some Bath and Body Works goodies, and some Victoria Secret goodies :) It was so much fun and I was so happy! Robert really is the best and I am a REALLY lucky girl. And my family...they're about the best too. I'm so fortunate to have such a great group of people to share everything with! (Pictures to come)
Thanks again babe! I love ya!
Now on to today...I went to Wally World to gather up a few things and while I was walking down the isle I saw this guy.
Yup! Jesse from the Bachelorette! I was SO excited...I even got a "Hey." from him. I had to call Robert right away to tell him...he didn't find it as exciting as I did... Oh well, I was like SWEET! Guess little towns do get semi-famous people sometimes...even in Walmart!
Have a great weekend everyone!

Happy Birthday, Kris!
I'd like to wish one of my besties a HAPPY BIRTHDAY! I have grown up with this girl and shared many special days with her! We were bridesmaids in each other's weddings and I absolutely love this girl! Our parents were in Lamaze class together and we were born 11 days apart (Brit, you fall in the middle of us!)
Happy Birthday!

Update and Giveaway
Sweet, Sassy and Oh So Classy is having a giveaway! How cute is this little wristlet?!?! I LOVE it. Make sure to go over here to see her super cute blog and check out her giveaway!
On another note, things have been sooo busy around our house! School has started and it seems like there is one thing after another on our calendar! September looks like it might be even more crazy! Rk's friend Bubba is getting married so we will be makin' the trip back to Potosi for their wedding! We are very excited for them and very excited to see everyone!
My MIL and FIL are coming in this week to spend a couple of days. We don't have anything special planned but I'm sure the weekend will consist of relaxing and sittin' on the front porch (watchin' for deer...they are some deer huntin' fools!) Speaking of deer, the three of us (Rk, Myself, and Ellie) went for a walk tonight down our road and saw a couple deer! Robert was excited and is getting very excited for November to roll around.
Well, it's the start of another week, however it is nice to think that next weekend will be a 3 day weekend! Woo hoo for Labor Day!
Happy Sunday everyone!

My Classroom :)
Well, it's officially the end of the first week back! Surprisingly, I made it through without any major problems! Usually the first week is pretty hectic, but this week went great! All of my classes are...interesting...but really are well-behaved. They are each different and constant entertainment. Ya never know what a high schooler is going to say! Or do! That's one of the reasons I love my job.
I thought I'd put a few pics of my classroom on here. It's nothing special, but high schoolers don't really appreciate cute bulletin boards or posters. Most of my decor is college posters and quotes :)
Welcome to Mrs. Hollinsworth's Classroom

Weekend Recap
We had a busy weekend! We left Friday and drove to Kansas City for a Big Smith concert. Kenny and Becky (our neighbors) went with us and we had a blast. The next day we got up and ate some Ihop and did a little shoppin'. It was so hot that we weren't in shopping mood...so we headed to St. Joseph. Steven and Deena (a guy Robert works with) got married so we made the trip for the wedding. It was at a really cool old church and the reception followed at a country club. It was a beautiful wedding and we had a blast. Here are a few pictures from the evening...however, I didn't take many!
