Mizzou Game and Thanksgiving Part 1

We got tickets for the Mizzou game for Robert's birthday! We met up with some friends and had a great day! Mom and dad watched LB because it was way too windy for her! Here are RK and I at the game. We had great seats but moved around during the game. Here we are on the grass. MU has a great win over Texas Tech and let's not fail to mention their HUGE win over KU! MIZ-ZOU!

We met up with Bubba and Alicia, Robert's friends, and had a great time! This little chica is preggo! Soooo happy for the two of them!

Then came Thanksgiving.
Here is the first one we had. I forgot my slr, so the snapshot cam had to work!
Gettin some love from daddy.

Lexi Belle with Gammaw. She loves her Gammaw.

Cousin Cory came home from Mizzou. He works for the football team and rarely gets to come home so it was SO nice to see him!

Lexi with her Grandma and Papa! These two take GREAT care of Lexi Belle every day and we are so thankful for them!

Check out my hat and new North Face!

Round 2 of Thanksgiving in Potosi coming soon!

On our way home from the Hollinsworth Thanksgiving, we stopped by Outback to eat. We were almost finished eating when Lexi let the torpedo fly. Torpedo you ask? Well, she is on antibiotic for her ears and it a number to her poor little belly. So, when she goes...you have to change her ASAP! So in the midst of getting the changing equipment together, Lexi graves robert's glass of tea and it SOAKED him. We both started cracking up! The waitress was so nice and all was good...but a we walked out, I couldn't help but take this picture with my phone...

The crazy things that happen with children. Ha!

Lexi Belle 6 Months

Lexi Belle is 6 months!
She is getting to be more and more fun by the day!
She is a complete joy and a little ball of fire. She wants something going at all times! Her little smile is just the sweetest! She is starting to get up on her hands and knees and rock...no crawling yet! She loves to sit in front of the tv and watch Mickey Mouse Playhouse. She will sit by herself with her toys and just play and play!

She holds her own bottle...

and she LOVES it when mommy puts on her little hat Gammaw got her!

and she loves to play peek-a-boo. Here we are playing the other night. I was cracking up. Ignore my voice. I'm a retard, and the 'bye bye' at the end sounds creepy. Please excuse.

But yes, she is the cutest baby you have ever seen.

Happy Monday!

Just Like Daddy

So since the day Lexi Belle was born, everyone has said that she looks like her daddy. And she does. Without a doubt. The ONLY thing that she got from her momma is her eye color. She is a cutie...I can say that. I'm her mommy. Each day she is looking more and more like her daddy!

See exhibit A:
What can I say. I have 2 cuties.

Tonight is Cam's game vs. Sherwood.
Tomorrow is Robert's 29th birthday.
Saturday is Mizzou vs. Texas Tech.
Sunday is church.

The weekends are jam packed from here till after Christmas. I can't wait to put our tree up, get the garland around the stair case, and get started Christmas shopping.
This, my friends, is my favorite time of year!

The Sweetest Little Thing...

I looked at this picture my grandma sent me of Lexi Belle today...I thought, look at that sweet little sleepy face...but then I saw something even sweeter...Look at the bottom right of the picture....
An older hand holding a brand new tiny hand...that to me was even sweeter.

Happy Wednesday!

Ear infections...Take 2

Yup, it's true. Little pea has red ears. Again. Poor little thing. She started picking at her ears a couple of days ago and we took her to see Emily and Candi, and sure enough...red. So we are back on the good juice (aka, amoxicillin) and are hoping for a quick recovery. The funny part is...you'd never know she has ear infections! She is just the happiest baby....and doc said she is 20 lbs! Woo hoo!
