My Girls

I am now a mother of two sweet, little girls and it is the absolute BEST! I remember telling Robert, "Do you think we can REALLY love another little girl like we do Lexi Belle?" Little did I know that your heart just grows with love when you bring that sweet baby into this world. I thought our family felt "complete" with Lexi Belle, but now that Harli Gray is here I don't know what it was ever like without her. She has already brought so much joy to us all.

I have found myself wanting to document EVERYTHING. I feel like I take a million pictures a day of them both and post to IG or Facebook, but you know what? That's ok. That's my job. I'm their mom. Plus, they are beautiful. Who wouldn't want to see sweet pictures of them? :) With that being said, here is a daily dose of my cuties.

They are my favorite.
Oh, and I don't want to talk about the fact that I am going to have to post HG's ONE month photos and update on Friday because yeah, it's already here.

Harli Gray: A Little Video

Here is a little video from when Harli Gray made her debut into this crazy world. Ideally I would have like to have had my big camera out documenting every. little. thing....but let's be real. Ain't nobody got time for that right after having a baby. Luckily, I have an awesome husband who whipped out his iphone and started videoing and taking pictures during this awesome time. So, that's the footage I had to work with while compiling this video. :)

I just wanted this to remind me of what an awesome time this is in our lives.

Enjoy.

Five on Friday!

post signature

Happy Friday everyone! Today I am linking up with Christina over at Carolina Charm for Five on Friday!

ONE
I am loving that THIS little lady is sleeping like a champ! She wakes up at 1:30 and 4:30 on the dot to eat and then goes right back to sleep. She needs to teach her sister a thing or two!

TWO

I finally got some pictures taken of sweet pea for her birth announcements! I was going to use Shutterfly or Tiny Prints, but I thought I'd save a little dough and do them myself. Plus, we have this awesome printer in my hometown that will print them super cheap and great quality. I was pretty happy with how they turned out!

THREE

Have you guys heard of BlogStomp? It's this super awesome program that allows you to upload your photos, arrange in collages, add your watermark, and many other things and then it "stomps" it which means it compresses it where it is ready for the internet! SO handy! You do have to pay for it, but I would definitely say it's worth the $$!!

FOUR

THIS WEATHER! It has been in the 70's this week and that is SOOOOOOO abnormal for July in Missouri! It's the annual fair in my hometown and it is usually so hot your clothes are stuck to you and your makeup is melting off of your face, but this year? NO WAY! It's cool in the evenings and absolutely amazing...and alarming.  :) I'll take it though!

FIVE

This sweet babe! She's doing so great at this whole big sister thing. Better than I could have asked for for sure!

You guys should join in on the fun, too! Go link up with Christina and the girls and let us know what YOU'RE loving this Friday!

4th of July

This year we had the annual 4th of July party at Grandma and Grandpa's. It is always so much fun to get everyone together for some great food and fireworks. I didn't take as many pictures as I wanted to, but I'm quickly realizing that taking a ton of pics with two kids is a little tough at first! Hopefully when we get past this newborn stage I can really focus on taking more!!!

The kids had so much fun lighting sparklers and we had these really cool lanterns this year! It was such a beautiful evening and the sky was PERFECT to watch the red, white, and blue lanterns float into the sunset. I'll let the pictures tell it all.

Another successful 4th. :)
( I failed to get a picture of Riley :( )
