Five on Friday!

Hey Girls!

It's Friday {insert happy dance}!!!!!

I'm linking up with Christina over at Carolina Charm for Five on Friday!

{1} Camelbak Eddie Water Bottle- This is the BEST water bottle I have found! I really don't drink water like I should, so this at least helps me with my daily intake needed for the bambino. I have the liter size, and it forces me to chug-a-lug.

{2} This top from Riffraff! - This top was on Riffraff's new arrivals today and I fell in love. It looks like it fits like a Piko but has such a fun pattern! This will be perfect for this growing belly. Catch it on sale today--15% off! Woop!

{3} Happy Mommy Box- I finally got one! If you haven't seen/heard about this you HAVE to go check it out. They are hard to get and you have to get on the waiting list, but oh my word am I excited to get mine! I was waiting on pins and needles on their website yesterday to make sure I didn't miss it!

Doesn't that sound like fun! Their past boxes have been amazing so I am super excited to get February's!

{4} Deciding on the nursery colors!-- I've been going back and forth on what I wanted to do for Harli Gray's nursery. I think I have finally decided at least on the color palette! I think I'm going to go with purples, wood colors, gray, and gold! I might throw in some pops of turquoise like the picture below:

Since Lexi Belle's room is in pink, I thought this would be something different for HG. Let's hope they are right and she really is a girl :) I won't start until after our ultrasound at 23 weeks...just to be safe!

{5} Green Apples- Lexi has started an obsession with apples and so have I! We have been going through these babies like crazy!!!

What are you loving today?

Porch Progress: Stained & Stamped Concrete

We finally got half of our porch poured! Woo hoo! They are having to do it in three parts, but here is the progress so far! These guys are definitely hard workers. I can't even imagine having to do what they do! They are so good! Here is where we are right now.

16 Weeks and a New Helper

Today we are 16 weeks! Woo hoo! It seems like this pregnancy is going by pretty quickly! Here are the stats as of now (without a bump pic):

How far along: 16 weeks
Gender: Girl
Weigh Gain: 4.5 lbs
Maternity Clothes: Mainly just pants. I can still wear my jeans, but they really cut into my belly. Why put pressure on the little princess?! Sweats and maternity jeans/leggings for this momma ;)
Stretch Marks : No
Belly button in or out: In
Sleep: It's been a little rough. Not because I can't get comfy, I just wake up and cannot go back to sleep. Also, we have had a sick toddler, so I've been up with her quite a few nights! :(
Best moment this week: Having temps about 10 degrees! Missouri weather is so crazy, it was like 60 degrees today and was below 0 last week. Weird. Also, we are super excited to know we are having another little girl!! I can't wait for more bows and pink!
Worst moment this week: Lexi being sick. It started with stomach and now it's a cold. Get outta here sickness.
Miss anything?: Not really. Actually, my diet vanilla cokes from Sonic. Miss. Them. Badly.
Movement: I think I felt a little flutter this week. I'm really looking forward to really feeling little miss moving around in there.
Cravings: Hm...Pickles, bread, funfetti cupcakes.
Queasy or sick: Feeling good
Looking forward to: Finishing the house so I can start on the nursery and LB's room!!!

...and because no post is fun without pics, let me introduce you to my new dish washer:

If I'm at the sink...or daddy....she is right beside us!

Printing and Storing Instagram Photos

Happy Friday ladies!!!

Let's first start off by talking about how amazing Aliya Rinaldi is!!! She gave the 'ol blog a makeover and I could NOT be more happy with it! She did exactly what I asked her to it and I absolutely love it! If you are needing something done to your blog or web page, she's your girl for sure!

Now, on to the good stuff!

I posted this picture on Instagram and immediately had comments asking how in the world did I print these!!!!???!??!!!

Really girls, it's super easy. That's why I do it.

Here are is how I print and store my IG photos. I know there are a thousand different ways, but I have found this is what works best for me.

1. Instaport-- This is how I get all of my IG photos from my Instagram on to my computer. It's super easy. You log in with your IG info and then you can pick and choose what photos you want to import. It puts them in a nice little zip file and you have all of your photos right at your finger tips. Pretty awesome, huh?! Yeah, totally.

2. Mpix-- This is where I print my photos. You can just upload that zip file Instaport just created for you right on to this site. I choose the 4x4 option and I think they are like $.29 or something and they are SUPER quick. Sometimes you will get them the next day! That's my kind of shipping. :)

3. Becky Higgins Project Life- This website will kind of give you an idea what this is all about. Basically it's an easy way to store your photos in a cute way without having to "scrapbook" them. I really wish I was into the whole scrapbooking thing because it looks so fun, but I've tried and failed and I've realized. I need quick and easy. I am way more digital than I am cut and paste and all that jazz.  Hence this blog.

4. Photo Binder- This is the style of binder I use. It comes in a ton of colors and I just love it. It's 12x12 and it hold all different types of page protectors. You can put ANY photo size in this, but I choose to do JUST my IG photos for now. I would love to get more into Project Life and use this for all of my photos, since I am really going to start trying to print more!

5. The Inserts- These are the inserts I use. You get 9 on a page and they work perfectly for the IG pics! Super cheap, too. Win. Win.

So that's how I do it! I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any questions!!! I also want to note that I write the date and what we were doing on the back of each photo---because I know I will forget!

Happy printing!

It's a...

It's a girl!

We went for an ultrasound on Tuesday and with the hard work from our ultrasound tech, Kim, we were able to get a REALLY good guess that we will be having a girl! We are absolutely thrilled to be having another girl. I think sisters will be so fun, and let's be honest, I've got TONS of girl clothes!

Here are a few pictures from the day!

and we might as well go ahead and announce her name....

We won't have another ultrasound until 23 weeks, so hopefully our ultrasound tech was right! We shall see!

Five on Friday!

I am linking up with Christina over at Carolina Charm for Five on Friday!

I have wanted to do this for awhile now, but never took the time to do it. As one of my New Year's Resolutions, blogging more is something I'm going to try really hard to do! Link ups are a great way for me to force myself to do this!

As for New Year's Resolutions; let's talk about that.

I have a few that I want to mention:

*1*    BLOG MORE!
I have GOT to start doing this. For the first year of Lexi Belle's life I did so much better at blogging about our every day life, and looking back, I LOVE reading all of those posts. Let's be honest, you forget. You forget so much! With the new baby coming in June, it's going to get crazy and I'm sure I will have even LESS time to blog,  but I want to make it a point to do this. Maybe daily. With that being said, it brings me to my next resolution- pictures.

*2* Take more pictures of my OWN family.
After starting my photography business, I have found myself not hardly taking any pictures of my own family. I'm not documenting events that I really should be documenting and it has started really getting to me. After I take tons of pictures of so many other families, I don't find the want-to to remember my own. Lexi Belle is growing like a weed and I'm not getting any of it documented. Shame. On. Me. So- with that being said, I am not going to be doing as many photo shoots this year, and I'm going to focus on MY kids, MY family!

*3* Slow down on the whole social media thing.
Let's be honest. I am on my phone checking Facebook, Instagram, emails....the list goes on....WAY too much. Why do I feel like I need to keep up with other families' lives more than my own? I have so much right in front of me, and I'm missing it. I want to be more present. After all, time is flying by and I need to soak it all up.

Those are the main things I want to concentrate on. I think if I can do that, it will help me be a better mommy and wife. I stay at home! There is no reason I should be focused on anything other than what goes on right here. Every day. So, here's to 2014. Let's get it.

Whew. Rant over. Now on to Five on Friday!

{1} Gap Super Soft Maternity Leggings-- These are the best leggings ever. I swear I wear them all of the time. Day, night, out, to bed...all of the time. If you are pregnant and haven't tried these, run on over to Gap and getcha some. Bonus: They are 40% off right now. You're welcome.

{2} The Piko Top-- This is probably one of the most popular tops right now and I have to admit, it's pretty great. I think I have it in like 8 or 9 colors and I wear them all of the time. SOOOOO comfy, yet stylish! Pair it with leggings, skinny jeans and a scarf and you are ready to go. You can get them at a bunch of different boutiques, but they sell out fast!

*3* We are already 14 weeks with baby #2!! This pregnancy is going so fast! Well, I say that, but when you find out at 4 weeks that you're pregnant, time seems to not go by fast enough. You want to make it to 12 weeks and get through the yucky part! But, we are there and can't wait to find out what the little one is! We have an ultrasound scheduled next week at our appointment. I'll be 15 weeks and am nervous that they won't be able to tell...but I'll be glad to see the baby and know that everything is going well!

{Piko top and Gap leggings worn in this pic!}

*4* I think we have settled (for now) on baby names! We are set on the boy name but are still contemplating the girls name. We will tell as soon as we find out what the baby is!!!!

*5* Dill Pickles---big dill pickles. Enough said.

Well, that's my first Five on Friday! It's pretty fun! I can't wait to link up next week!

Happy Friday y'all!
