37 Week OB Check-up

We went yesterday for our 37 week visit. Everything looked great. Heartbeat was 140-150 (but she was moving all around so that's not surprising), Step B test came back negative (thank goodness), and the cervix is softening :) My doctor said that she expects to see progress by our appointment on Monday!

My wonderful doctor is leaving May 11-15! Yikers! So, she told me yesterday that when I come in for my weekly appointment on the 9th and am dilated to a 3 or 4 she will gladly let me stay and have Lexi! WOO HOO! Let's hope for some dilation! That would me feel SO much better knowing she would be there to deliver the baby, although I know other doctors would be just fine, too. She said regardless, she thinks I'll go around 39-40 weeks. That seems like an eternity right now, but really it is just a couple of short weeks away!

And this picture is mainly for me to look back on and remember how big I was/am. I see the bare belly pics on other blogs and thought I'd put ONE on here.
It's really, really blurry but you get the idea.

    I found your blog on David and Elizabeth's blog. Pregnancy looks great on you! I just noticed your husband, Robert. I went to high school with him. He graduated a year before me...crazy how small the world is. Can't wait to see little Lexi
