We decided to take a little get-a-way before the construction on the house commences, so we decided it would be the perfect time to check out Big Cedar Lodge in Branson. This is only about 2 hours from where we live and we can't believe that we haven't checked it out before now! It is amazing! There is nothing better than just lounging around the pool, looking at beautiful scenery, and eating amazing food while spending all of our time together. No meetings, no phone calls, no emails...just a little relaxation. Awesome.
Shortly after we got here Ethan and Brooke came to visit. They live in Springfield so it was just a little ways for them to drive. We hung out for a couple hours before they headed back to Springfield. So fun!

We didn't go out to dinner the first night. Our room had a little kitchenette so we made turkey and avaocado subs and hung out in our room.
The next morning we woke up and had coffee and breakfast out on the balcony. I could get used to this.
After breakfast we headed for a fun day at the pool! This place has some awesome pools. Each one is different so you have a ton of options!
We came back and napped and got ready for dinner!
