I think I'm in love.

Today I found this bedding on Kelly's blog (http://www.kellyskornerblog.com/). I absolutely love it! I am doing the nursery in brown and pink and this gave me the idea to throw in some lime green. I am really loving it.  I do love the zebra and giraffe print. Don't you?

Her nursery is adorable. She's giving me some gread ideas!

And here are the finished walls! The wood looks great!

Next comes the varnish on the wood...It will be done before we know it and then we can start decorating! I can't wait to see the finished product!

25 (almost) Belly Pic

Whoa baby... look out. Momma's belly is gettin big.
I'll be 25 weeks Monday, but I thought this largeness needed documented.
{Sorry for the bad pic- I took it on my phone}

Here is a baby at 25 weeks pregnant. It's hard to believe our little girl looks like this!

So, tonight we are going to Kansas City to the Plaza to eat at Fogo De Chao!! It's my parents 25th Anniversary and we are going to celebrate. Our reservations aren't until 9:30 so I guess we will have to do a little baby shopping. Darn the luck.

I think we've found a model...

Tonight I decided I was going to take a stab at making some bows for Lexi Belle. After watching YouTube videos, I thought I had it...I still need some practice but at least now I can somewhat put one together! I needed a model to see what they looked like and look who I found...
I think pink is her color.
{She HATED these things!}
Too funny!
{This is when she goes to cheer on the Bulldogs}

I've got a lot more practice, but I'm sure LB will have a nice collection of bows when she gets here!

As for Lexi Belle's nursery....here is the progress so far... I dropped the ball and didn't take pics when the framing was going up...but here is where I started and I plan to keep it updated as more gets finished!

And finally...I got in this sweet little outfit today for LB.  I think we might need to change the specs for her closet...the collection is getting bigger by the day. {But it's just so fun!}

22 Week Pic & Snow Day #2

 I got to stay home due to the slick roads! We were out of school yesterday and surprisingly we got out today, as well! Unfortunately I've had a horrible cold and haven't done much but lay on the couch and watch T.V. Oh well. I'm lucky we didn't have school because I would have been miserable. When you're pregnant what you can take is very limited. So I don't know if you've heard of it, but I was told to use the Neti Pot.

Yes, this is what you have to do. (No, that's not me.)
Talk about crazy.  Surprisingly, it works. Gross.

I hadn't been outside much in the past couple of days, but today I went out and here is what I saw on the front of our garage...

Look at these monsters. They are HUGE!

Ellie likes the snow...

And here is the belly pic for 22 weeks....I'm not big on these but a couple of my friends want to see it...so here it goes.
Huge.
I was laying on the couch this morning and I could see her rolling around. I'm going to try to get a video of it the next time she's really moving. Usually it's just kickin' and jabbin' but sometimes she shifts all around. I'm so glad I can feel her all of the time. It's pretty amazing.

Meet Lexi Belle...

Meet Miss Lexi Belle :)

Monday, January 3, 2011

It's a...

GIRL!!

We found out today that we will have a sweet little Lexi Belle! We are beyond excited and can't wait! Everything measured great and she's a healthy baby with long legs and a chubby belly! We got some great pictures from the ultrasound. We could see her little face and feet....legs, arms. belly. It was amazing. She's transformed from a lima bean to a sweet little baby. It was such a great day and we were so happy to get a good report on LB. Her little feet are 3 1/2 cm long. :) Heart rate was at 163 which is perfect.

After the ultrasound we did some shopping and mom and I had so much fun buying some girly things! LB should be set for awhile.

It was such a good day that we got to share with our parents. So glad they were both there to share this big surprise with us. I'm still trying to take it all in that we are going to have a baby girl. Robert and I couldn't be any happier!
