Father's Day and New Pool!

Sunday we celebrated our 2nd Father's Day! Last year Lexi Belle was just a little shot...she has grown so much in 1 year!

Crazy!
But Lexi Belle told me to put on my blog how great of a daddy she thinks her daddy is.

He is so patient, especially when I'm not...
He helps me SOOO much...around the house, and with LB.
I know I never have to worry about much because he usually has everything covered.

We are lucky girls!
Happy Father's Day babe!

Now on to Lexi's new swimming pool...

In Florida we realized LB's love for the water. She had soooo much fun at the beach/pool that we knew we had to get her a little pool when we got home. So, Saturday we went and got her just a cheap little blow up pool....and she loves it! She has only played in it once, but I know we will be doing it a lot more this summer!

On a side-note...
Aren't we so glad we can make a collage again! Whew! I sure am!

OHHHH! One more thing...it's kind of big.

Lexi slept the WHOLE night in her bed on Friday.
Yeah, awesome.

BUT, the last two night she has woke up screaming and can't get easy for a while afterwards. I don't know if it is nightmares? Teeth? I don't know, but it is bad.
We are working on it, and we will get there....but to all of those preggo mommies out there...start them in their beds as soon as you can. I love her being with us...but she's so big now it is rather dreadful at night when you get kicked in the ribs, face, teeth...you name it.  :)

that's all.

13 Months

well, I haven't been doing a great job of doing month-to-month pics of LB the last few months. I think since it was her bday, we went on vacation, and about a MILLION other things that were going on, I figured that the pics I was posting for those events counted. Well folks, I'm back on track and month-to-months will be coming back. For my sake, really...but I think it amazing how fast she is growing and I want to remember every bit.

So, here she is at 13 months....
 ...those eyes :)

Els finally got to come home!

She loves going to the garden and helping daddy water. Basically, she just loves being outside!

Still only have 6 teeth (4 on top, 2 bottom)...but I think she is definitely working on more because of sleep patterns and diapers :)

She is the most social little thing that I have ever seen.
She makes eye contact with every person in the room.
She smiles at everyone she sees.
She warms everyone's heart with her sweet little demeanor.
It makes me so proud when she is so nice and sweet to everyone. She would go to a stranger in a heartbeat.

We love her so much.

3 Years

3 years ago today, I married a special guy....

It was one of the best days of my life.
The way we met and our story would surprise some, but we knew right away that we wanted to be together. We only dated awhile, but in that short time I knew he was the one. I KNEW it.
Dating was fun...

...but we were ready to tie the knot :)

Then after 2 years of marriage, we got the best gift anyone could receive...
Our Sweet Lexi Belle.

We never knew we could love something so much and watching Robert with her, and the great daddy he was, just made my love grow.
Sharing these things in life are overwhelming and wonderful and our relationship has grown with each day.

So, now here we are....our little family of 3...
and I feel very thankful to have met this guy...and married him...3 years ago today.

Branson Trip

This past weekend we went to Branson to celebrate these wonderful people's 50th anniversary!

Yup! My Grandma and Grandpa have been married for 50 years!
That's something special.

So, to celebrate all of the family headed to Branson!
We had a wonderful weekend filled with jam-packed fun!
We went to:
The Showboat Branson Belle
We ziplined!
Tourned the Titantic Museum
Shopped on the Branson Landing
The Dixie Stampede
Silver Dollar City!

We had so much fun!
Here are some pictures to show just a taste of the fun we had. Most of the shows don't allow pictures, so we didn't get a ton, but let me tell you Lexi Belle loved Silver Dollar City's water area for kids! It was the cutest thing ever. She just played in the water and hugged little kids...squealed...you name it! It was so stinkin' cute!
